Hi, everyone!
This year has flown! In between welcoming a new grandson and granddaughter into the world, I’ve had my head buried in my computer! Yes, BURIED!
But that means new books so here’s what I have coming for you:
From Harlequin Intrigue: 4 back-to-back releases starting in December! The first three of those books tie up my BBL (Bucking Bronc Lodge) cowboy miniseries.
December: COWBOY COP
January: NATIVE COWBOY
February: ULTIMATE COWBOY
I’m also honored to say that I wrote a novella which is part of a post-Katrina anthology featuring three sexy heroes with two of my favorite Intrigue authors, Joanna Wayne & Mallory Kane. Look for it in March.
March: Anthology Title: COVER ME:
My story: BAYOU JEOPARDY.
BUT that’s not all!
My other personality (the lighter side) has returned and I’ve revamped some of my old romantic comedies, updated them, and self-published them on ebooks.
For fans of MARRY ME, MADDIE and SLEEPLESS IN SAVANNAH, I’ve finally written a special story for Lucy & Reid called I LOVE LUCY! I LOVE LUCY is part of the Christmas anthology SAVE ME, SANTA and is a heartwarming, humorous romantic suspense featuring Lucy and Reid.
Also, fans of HERE COMES THE BRIDE, I promised a sequel THERE GOES THE GROOM featuring Kimberly’s twin sister Marci. Yes, it is written. All I have to do is edit it (hopefully in December) and you’ll see it up on Kindle!
AND there’s more:
On the dark side:
I’m excited about my new two book series with Amazon Montlake! This series is dark, gritty romantic suspense set in the Tennessee mountains around a spooky old sanitarium and a small town called Slaughter Creek.
Book one in the SLAUGHTER CREEK SERIES, DYING TO TELL, debuts on Christmas day. Just to get readers in the mood for the story, I’m also offering a short story prequel to book one, BEFORE SHE DIES, which is on Amazon Kindle now!
Happy Holidays and reading to all! Now back to the keyboard and book two of the Slaughter Creek series…
Rita

I just purchased a copy of “Suspicious Circumstances” and plan to read it tonight. I purchased it partly because you live in Georgia, as do I. I would like to know if you or any other Intrigue authors use Georgia as a setting for your stories. I have never read an Intrigue set in GA.
A little about myself. I began reading romance novels when I was in grade school because my mother read them and I could read them for free, and not have to spend my allowance on them. I kind of became addicted to them. I am now a retired truck driver with too much time on my hands. I would love to write Harlequin Intrigues and other mystery romances. I have read many books on the art of writing and plotting, but I haven’t found a plotting method that actually fits a Harlequin Intrigue. So, I would like to know how do you plot your Harlequin Intrigues. Have you heard of a book by Jessica Brody entitle “Save The Cat Writes a Novel?” I love this book, but none of the plots seem to fit a Harlequin Intrigue. Intrigues are just too short. Anyway, I know you must get tons of emails and letters from fans, So I will end this now and not take up any more of your time. If you have the time, I would love an answer. I look forward to checking out some more of your books. BT
